Jenny Wren
Hi! it's so nice you found my page, welcome. A little background info.
My name is Jenny but have a nickname Jenny Wren; this came from my dad when I was little I think it was because I was always singing, or maybe just because he liked it, who knows but I always felt special because it was my dad.
I married Norm 51 years ago whom I met when we were both 16; we have 2 sons and 1 daughter, 2 gorgeous granddaughters, 1 crazy dog a Jackapoo Maggie. My happy place is my home and family; friends, my garden, nature, animals (except snakes, spiders and creepy crawlies, oh and mice and rats.....eek!). I love making people feel happy; I've been told I call everyone 'lovey' and chatting to random stranger maybe giving them a compliment just to make their day a bit brighterðŸ¤
I have been retired since 2008 having been diagnosed with M.E. but, thanking God I am okay and just getting on with life. I'm not going to pretend everything is rosy; I have my ups and downs like everyone else; suppose that's why I felt the need to create this space to share things with those who are interested and want to listen and may be going through their own struggles.
I love listening to the life story of others and trying to help in any way I can which is why I believe I enjoyed my working career with mostly in dealing with the public in some capacity in pubs, shops, factories, offices, schools, and with adults who had mental health challenges; this was working for many years with Local Council in both Social Services and Education; sadly ill health brought all that to an end, I miss it terribly. But, I have continued to try and have a good outlook and keep as busy as I can, not always being sensible with my limitations (can't keep a live-wire down). 🤯

I hope if you stick around you will find this blog honest and possibly may help if you have or are going through similar. I can assure you of one thing, I care about what has happened to you in your past and what you may be going through now. I may never meet you but there is someone here who cares.

In sharing my thoughts, interests, even though they may be boring and different to yours, you will see that we all have something to give, something to share; some will listen, others may not, but you matter.🤗

You will read biblical references and spiritual quotes which, when/if you read my testimony you may understand why. I love life and appreciate what I have; life is a gift, we have been given it to live it and enjoy it the best we can. So let's do life.....together, with all its ups and down, smelling the roses and pulling up the weeds along the way. 💖
